VALLEY FORGE, Pa (Feb 11, 2013) IntrinsiQ, LLC, a company of AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group, today announced the availability of IntelliDose TxM—a web-based version of its proprietary chemotherapy management tool, IntelliDose. The application was designed to automate this process, supporting complex chemotherapy patient management through computerized physician order entry; automating nursing notes; capturing patient chemotherapy encounter details in nursing charge summaries and providing practice data in comparison with national benchmarks.
IntrinsiQ has recognized the evolution and growing importance of Web-based solutions for the flexibility and value they bring in delivering complex commercial applications, particularly in the health care arena.
“We are excited about the opportunities that we now have by being able to offer IntelliDose TxM as a Web-based application. We have been able to take all of the dynamic features of IntelliDose, and greatly enhance them to incorporate the feedback we have received from our current customers,” noted Andrew Scott, director of product management at IntrinsiQ. “As a Web-based solution, IntelliDose TxM allows us to be much more flexible and responsive in the services we provide. Also, the burden of system and hardware management that is necessary with a server application is now nonexistent.”
IntelliDose TxM provides the key functional areas of chemotherapy order management, nurse charting and charge capture as well as the crucial interface capabilities that allow it to integrate with a wide selection of Electronic Health Records and other clinical applications. Additional components for treatment plan and insurance authorization management are planned for release throughout 2013.
IntelliDose TxM is designed for practices looking for a focused medical oncology tool that can be rapidly deployed with minimal hardware requirements and a low maintenance footprint.
Hundreds of doctors, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies turn to IntrinsiQ for the real-world oncology information and insight they can trust. The company's flagship clinical software, IntelliDose®, gives oncology caregivers a reliable resource for managing chemotherapy treatments and workflow--eliminating manual errors and ensuring high-quality patient care.
